Build Your Own WordPress Website
The first official version of WordPress was realeased on 27th May 2003 and WordPress became a real game-changer in terms of the ability of the ‘non-technical’ individual to create and maintain his or her own website.
Indeed, the main ‘mission statement’ of The WordPress Foundation founded by Matt Mullenweg was ‘the democratization of web publishing’.
You’ve had the training…now you can build your own website!
I now offer temporary space on my server for those who wish to build their own website.
Quite often, I find that for various reasons, there is a long period of time between when a person has had my WordPress training course and when thay actually attempt to build their own site, and by the time they get round to building the site, they may have forgotten what they have learned during the training session.
During a standard training session I set up a ‘dummy website’ on my server to use as the basis of my training course.
After the training course, customers now have the option to use the dummy site as the basis of the actual website they want to build. This means that they can start building their site without any delay and can immediately put into practise what they have learned during the training session.
Once the website is ready to ‘go live’ I can then migrate the site over to the customer’s hosting company.
I charge a small fee of £50 for the server space and the migration process.
I’m with you every step of the way….
I am always on hand to give you help and advice if required.
